Viva Garibaldi, to a WW2 flying jacket and a 19th century African war club
Hansons antiques auction on Wednesday 17 February will include a wide array of works of art and collectables.
Highlights in the sale shall include an important Italian inlaid table from circa 1860. Inscribed Viva Garibaldi, the table is beautifully inlaid with a coat of arms. Bearing a label to the base side drawer for 'Guiseppe Mignon', the table is dated 18 December 1860.
The auction will include a collection of silver from a Hertfordshire home, together with silver from a property in Cheshire.
A fine Art Deco diamond and seed pearl pendant from the 1920s will be included in the auction and carry expectations of £3000-5000.
A collection of toys and collectables will be included together with a small consignment of 19th century pistols from a Birmingham estate.
A collection of Royal Doulton figures and Pratt ware pot lids will be entered into the ceramics and glass section.
In works of art, a novel cane carved as a dog's head with hinged tongue is expected to fetch £150-200, whilst a good and early Armand Marseille bisque head doll will carry expectations of £100-150.
A WW2 flying jacket is expected to soar to £200-300.
The auction will include other antique furnishings consigned to auction from a home in Smalley, Derbyshire, together with selected contents from homes in Sutton Coldfield and Coalville in Leicestershire.
