Hansons Auctioneers, managed by Charles
Hanson as seen on BBC1 Bargain Hunt, will now be holding twice monthly
antique valuation days in Alrewas every 1st and 3rd Tuesday from June,
except September when it will be the 1st and 4th Tuesdays.
Commenting
on the antiques valuation days, Charles Hanson reported, 'we have been
delighted by the local interest expressed in Alrewas, and due to demand
we will be making them twice monthly events.
Kate Bliss, silver
and jewellery expert to Hansons and a popular figure on the antique
programs, is pleased with the upsurge in interest. 'We are often
surprised at what is frequently unearthed out of boxes and bags. Recent
highlights have included a fine silver salver made in London in 1744,
which sold for £900.
